The Journey is Almost Over

The monster runs towards us, the only thing on its mind is destruction.

It’s already destroyed cars, killed a few innocents just taking photos.

“Oi, come here you piece of shit,” I yell at the monster.

He turns to look at me, stares at me right in my eyes, I can somewhat see the pain on his face, the human side of him.

I do not feel sympathy for such a creature.

I shoot fire straight at his eyes, blinding him for a few seconds.

Dad jumps onto the monsters back, using his strength to fight.

I just keep moving closer and closer to the monster, throwing more and more flames at him.

I think he’s getting weaker, I can’t tell.

His body is huge, pure muscle, monstrous.

I tear down a street light, jumping up to his body and stabbing it through his chest.

The monster falls down to the ground, bleeding from his chest.

Within a few seconds, he turns back into a man, his clothes are gone from his back.

Just a naked man on the street.

We did it.
